Thomas Zip, Zoom & Logging Adventure

Thomas Zip Zoom & Logging AdventureThomas Zip Zoom & Logging Adventure is as brand new addition to the Thomas The Tank Engine family released in the autumn of 2010. This is a very exciting train set which is part of the new portable ‘Take & Play’ sets. The dimensions of this set are 132.588cm x 87.884cm x 32.512cm (52.2×34.6×12.8”). Being light weight makes it easy for even tiny Thomas fans to carry around. This new train set features lights, train sounds and special Thomas phrases as only Thomas can deliver them.

Opening the box one of course finds the Thomas engine plus a special cargo car for loading and transporting the logs, a magnetic log, plastic track pieces that easily snap together, a logging mill, tree trunk tunnel, and zip line bridge which assemble quickly via carefully numbered sections. An instruction sheet is also included. Batteries are required for operation but no tools are needed for assembly at any point.

The adventure is specially designed to allow children to create their own travel adventures as Thomas can use the switch track to reach the logging mill where logs can be split and loaded onto a special conveyer belt to load the cargo car to travel over several hills and around exciting turns as Thomas moves about to complete the task. One special feature of the Thomas Zip Zoom & Logging Adventure set is a special zip line bridge which allows Thomas to cross a bridge with a no-track section similar to the ones seen in the start-up of all Thomas DVDs. Both the logging mill and and zipline bridge are motorised.

Another exciting visit during this special adventure is to the tree trunk tunnel which includes supports and a special Misty Island track. It is possible for even 3 year old fans to experiment with two track layouts which again are easy for small hands to connect together.

Thomas Zip Zoom & Logging Adventure sets are available in retail stores, toy shops as well as online. The average price is 59.99£ + shipping.
