VTech Push and Ride Alphabet Train

Push and Ride Alphabet TrainThe Push and Ride Alphabet Train is the perfect mix of education and fun for children. It is manufactured by Vtech, and recommended for children ages one to three years. It can be used to play with on the floor, pushed along as a walker or your child can sit on the carriage for a ride-on toy. The train is designed to teach songs, stores, numbers, letters, colours and more.

The Push and Ride Alphabet Train is made of sturdy plastic. It features 26 letter blocks that are double sided, a non-rip learning book, five coloured numbered buttons, one elephant character which moves, motion sensor, the ride-on carriage and a drop space for transporting the blocks. Parents will appreciate the volume control and automatic shut-off switch for quiet play. It can easily be cleaned with a damp cloth. There is initial adult assembly required. The dimensions are: 30.3” length x 16.1” width x 9.8” height. The weight is 10.2 pounds. Three AA batteries are required and included with purchase.

The Push and Ride Alphabet Train encourages fine motor and language skills with hand-eye coordination. As your child places the letter blocks into the hotspots, they will hear the driver teach letters, animals and objects. The driver will ask the child to find these objects in relationship to the 14 page learning book. The motion sensors and follow-me lights will activate the 10 melodies to teach the child to play by themselves. The train has 2 play modes: walker mode and discovery mode.

The Push and Ride Alphabet train was awarded 2 gold awards in 2008. The first award was the Mother and Baby Gold for the best learning toy in all ages. The second award was the Practical Pre-School Awards, which presented the gold in the Toys and Games category.
