LEGO Brickbeards Bounty 6243

LEGO Brickbeard’s Bounty

LEGO released a product called Brickbeard’s Bounty (6243) and it is a large pirate ship with 592 pieces. It has eight character pieces including a unique mermaid that does not have the typical LEGO person legs, as she is a mermaid. The concept of the toy is a pirate ship that sails the open see on the constant adventure for treasures like gold and jewels. The product includes a character of the Admiral’s daughter and a plank that they would make her walk down unless the sailors save her from the shark infested waters. The great thing about the detail of this toy is that the story can change because of the details of the product. Its an easy trigger to make the imagination roam!

Brickbeard’s Bounty pirate ship includes three pull action cannons that will actually shoot LEGO cannons for inventive games. It has removable captain quarters and a plank to walk on. It has a separate paddle boat to float alongside it as a lifeboat or a rescue boat. The sails are detailed and there is also a net with a crank. There is incredible detail from the base of the ship to the lanterns and the windows. The little extras include a treasure chest, jewels, a map, and a spy glass among others.

This product makes a great gift and while not recommended for very little children, it will be especially enjoyed by those in older primary school. With 592 pieces, it will take a while to build, but be worth the end result. There are several games that can be played with a pirate ship and a child’s imagination will really run wild at the site of this pirate ship. It can creatively become a part of any LEGO collection and inspire creative ideas and thinking.
