Chicco Talking Driver

Chicco: The Drive to Learn, Do you have a special baby on your shopping list and need help finding an awesome gift? Are you a parent who would rather buy your child toys to enhance their education and stimulate learning? Would you like to introduce your baby to bilingual communication? Well look no further than the Chicco Talking Driver.

The Chicco Talking Driver is recommended for infants one year and older. However, my son who is 8 months old plays with his Talking Driver and is fascinated with it. The Chicco Talking Driver has a steering wheel, an ignition switch, turn signals, horn, gear shift, brake, rear view mirror, and an accelerator. All of the parts stay on the dashboard so there are no tiny pieces floating around. There are five buttons with the pictures of the corresponding destination for the little driver to choose. It teaches little ones to count from 1 to 10. It teaches words and phrases and of course has real car sounds. Both the steering wheel and dashboard are interactive for your little one. There is a switch so everything it says can be heard in both English and French. The Talking Driver is designed with bright colours to stimulate baby’s eyes and catch baby’s attention. The turn signals really blink. The voices are fun and do not sound robotic. And of course, the music is upbeat and the baby can drive just like mum or dad. The volume is just right and the sounds are so fun that it makes learning fun and enjoyable. It is a toy that would definitely be fun for both girls and boys.

The Talking Driver has won the following 3 very prestigious awards: The “Seal of Approval” by National Parenting Center, the “100 Best Childrens Product” by Dr. Toy and the “Toy Test Winner” by Today Show.

The Chicco Talking Driver weighs 3.8 pounds. Its measurements are 16.2 x 9.9 x 8.7 and it operates on 2 “AA” batteries.
