If you are looking for a gift for someone who likes both Star Wars and Lego blocks, you may want to consider the Star Wars Millennium Falcon Lego set 7965. This set allows you to be able to build a replica of the Millennium Falcon just out of Lego bricks. This can make a great play set once it is put together or can be displayed as a decoration.

The Millennium Falcon is based on the ship seen in the first Star Wars movie, “A New Hope”. The set comes with six Lego mini figures which include Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, Ben Kenobi and Darth Vader. There are also three blasters, three lightsabers and one crossbow that are included to be used with the mini figures.

There are 1,254 Lego blocks that are included to build the ship. Once it is built, the ship has a detailed interior as well as rotating laser canons. The cockpit is also detachable for playing with the mini figures, allowing you to be able to recreate familiar scenes from the Star Wars movies as well as make new ones.

Because of the small pieces, this Lego set is not recommended for any children under three because it could be a choking hazard. The Millennium Falcon Lego set is so complex to build that is it only recommended for ages 9 and up. It can be a serious time investment to put this set together as it took two adult Lego tests over four hours to put the set together. If you are buying this for your child, you may want to help them with the construction, depending on their age. Included with this Millennium Falcon Lego set are all the pieces you need to build the ship as well as stickers to place when it is finished. There are also two instruction booklets to show you to build the ship.
